Identifying When Your Business is in Financial Trouble September 21st, 2022 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Many businesses are dependent on environmental factors, commodity prices, markets and many factors outside of your control. Part of effective risk management is identifying when your business is in trouble and determining how best to adapt, pivot or evolve. In many cases, this means talking with lenders who may make concessions, lend new money or force your business into receivership. The key to turnaround is early identification and proactive discussions with your business stakeholders.
In this session you will learn:
- Common causes of financial distress and external and internal factors influencing outcomes
- The current state of the economy as it relates to business and consumer insolvency
- How lenders evaluate your business situation and how they can help
- Macro economic risk factors impacting your business
- Key metrics to highlight troubling financial results
- Identifying risk in your supply chain
- How to recognize negative trends and identify the drivers of these trends
- What resources and options are available to your business if trends cannot be reversed
